Who We Are
Noah Cho – Managing Director
Noah is a mission-driven operator and co-founder of Castlewood Legacy Partners. His professional journey—from leading military budgets to advising industry executives—reflects a lifelong commitment to service, discipline, and thoughtful leadership.
As a U.S. Air Force officer, Noah managed a $1.35 billion modernization portfolio at Kessel Run, the Air Force’s premier software innovation unit. He also supported global air missions by leading financial operations for a major airlift base. After active duty, he joined McKinsey & Company, where he advised a major industrials client on procurement transformation. These experiences shaped his operator-first mindset and deep respect for mission-driven organizations.
Noah earned his MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in History from Yale University. Outside of work, Noah enjoys spending time with his wife and two corgis, teaching chess as an after-school instructor, and working on his golf game.
Brandon Chung – Managing Partner
Brandon is a finance and M&A professional with a track record of helping business owners and software founders achieve successful outcomes. As co-founder of Castlewood Legacy Partners, he brings expertise in deal execution, financial modeling, and long-term value creation.
Originally from Orange County, Brandon began his career at Ernst & Young, auditing Fortune 500 companies across biotech, medtech, and software. He later joined Software Equity Group, a leading middle-market B2B software investment bank, where he advised on more than $650 million in closed transactions. He partnered directly with founders and strategic buyers to position companies for growth across healthcare, logistics, education technology, and more. Brandon is passionate about building lasting businesses, not just selling them.
He holds dual degrees in Accountancy and Finance from the University of San Diego. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys golf, watching Laker games, and traveling.
